Biography
Eddie J (EJ) born and raised in A, TX; has always had the love for music. As a young kid I listened to the records my mom used to play, and didn't know at the time that it would have a big influence on my style of music production later in my life. I remember loving to dance to the music, especially when my mom used to ask me to entertain our guest. I knew that some how I would be a part of making music so other people could feel as good as I did. I bought a bass guitar and a small amp from a pawnshop, and began learning how to play. There were two brothers (Duke & Chop) who lived across the street from me that played in a blues band and taught me some nice licks and used to let sit in and jam with them. Man, I wish I knew where they were now, so I could share with them what they help create.
Groove Town Productions was established and developed by Eddie J. Arnold in 1996. I began developing my skills in the studio by producing music tracks, recording and mixing the projects of many upcoming artists in the area, and have had the pleasure of meeting and working with some very talented individuals that the world will be hearing from in the near future. I will always love and continue making music as long as the man upstairs allows me to. Getting paid for it is a bonus. You can't put a price on the feeling you get knowing that you made a difference in someone's life when they really needed it or having someone tell you that you or your music help them through a situation when it seemed nothing else could. I can speak on that first hand as many others can as well, I'm sure. The loss of loved ones including both my parents, all but one of my grand - parents and other relatives and friends is a lot of pain & sorrow but the power music somehow has a way of making things so much better. So keep your eyesand ears open, Eddie J assures you there is going to be some music coming in the future that will touch someone.
