Baby Ju

Biography
"Gotta Respect It"

Straight out of the heart of New Orleans, Mitchell Brooks Sr. a.k.a. Baby Ju-Ju, arrives to the game bringing a combination of street smarts and book smarts. After so many years of poverty, struggling and hustling just to eat, Baby Ju knew he wanted to get out of the ghetto. But how????

Facing so many obstacles, such as seeing death, ducking police and living violence, Ju immediately turned to music as a pain reliever. Soon, he developed a love for it. Inspired by rappers like B.G. a.k.a. B. Gizzle and 2Pac, he started writing his own rhymes. He was only 9 years old at that time.

Many different producers had heard him and were feeling his style, but money and his age was a big issue. Even though there was no chance he would get studio time, he still wrote, wrote, wrote and stayed dedicated to what he was doing.
After years of solo experience, he clicked up with his older cousin Mike-Mike to form a group called "Southern Strangers". They were being produced by their uncles, Johnny "Daddy Lee" Johnson and Troy "Trouble Man" Johnson, who sold dope to to make money for studio time. All of a sudden, Johnny and Troy was busted and sent to jail on drug charges. Southern Strangers broke up, but Baby Ju kept writing.

Five years later Baby Ju was introduced to "Eddie"J Arnold, producer of Groove Town Productions, and everything else was history.

Baby Ju brings to the game a since of urgency. With his aggressive flows and sophisticated rhymes, you can't help but love his style. The response from people is, they feel that he would be a big plus to the game, especially right now!
